This is the airport-specific companion to our main UAE airport lounges guide. That guide covers the five ways into any lounge in detail. This one is about the rooms themselves at DXB, and which door is cheapest for each. Lounge locations, access rules and fees change often, so confirm the current details before you rely on them.

A quick word on terminals

DXB has three terminals. Terminal 3 is the Emirates and flydubai home and by far the largest. Terminal 1 handles most other international airlines. Terminal 2 is smaller and mostly regional. Your lounge options depend heavily on which terminal, and which concourse, you fly from, so match the lounge to your boarding gate before you plan around it.

The lounges at DXB

  • Emirates lounges (Terminal 3). The headline act. Emirates runs dedicated Business Class and First Class lounges across the Terminal 3 concourses, some spanning entire floors, with dining, bars, showers and direct boarding in places. In: an Emirates or partner premium-cabin ticket, or Skywards Gold and Platinum status on qualifying trips.
  • Marhaba Lounge (Terminals 1 and 3). Operated by dnata and open to any traveller regardless of airline or class. In: pay at the door or pre-book online, and it frequently appears on Priority Pass, LoungeKey and DragonPass, so many premium cards get you in free.
  • Independent and network lounges. Terminals 1 and 3 have further pay-in or network lounges that come and go. If you carry a lounge membership, check its app for the current DXB list before you travel.
Nuqat rule of thumb: at DXB the room you can reach depends on your terminal and concourse. Confirm the lounge is on your side of the gates before you count on it.

How to get in, cheapest door first

  1. Flying Emirates Business or First? The lounge is included. Done.
  2. Have Skywards Gold or Platinum? Use it for the Emirates lounge, no per-visit cost.
  3. Carry a premium card? Check whether it includes Priority Pass, LoungeKey or DragonPass before paying, that usually covers Marhaba. See our best UAE cards.
  4. None of the above? Pay in at Marhaba, or pre-book online for a little less.

For the full detail on status, cards and memberships, read the main lounge guide. Chasing the Emirates lounge specifically? The fastest route is often a premium-cabin redemption, which our business class from Dubai guide walks through.

Always verify current lounge locations, access rules, guest policies and fees with the lounge, your airline or your card provider before making decisions. Terms change.
